TIP Group, the leading trailer and truck hire services provider will make its debut at this year’s ITT Hub, showcasing its range of trailer and truck, rental, leasing and maintenance & repair services.

With technology at the heart of the ITT (Innovation & Technology in Transport) Hub, TIP will also be demonstrating and discussing its technology platforms that help transport operators to run their fleets efficiently and safely, whilst keeping them ‘compliant’.

BrakePlus, TIP’s electronic braking performance monitoring system (aka EBPMS) is expected to generate a lot of interest at the event, following recently announced changes to the DVSA’s ‘Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness’ publication. It forms part of the TIP Insight range of telematics that enables operators to better manage their fleet through a range of monitoring and reporting functionality, including ‘track and trace’ capability, tyre pressure, door and refrigeration temperature monitoring.

TIP’s Earned Recognition service and its customer compliance portal will also be showcased.

The stand will feature a 13.5-metre Schmitz Cargobull tri-axle refrigerated semi-trailer fitted with Thermo King Advancer refrigeration unit for fuel economy and low noise, plus a new DAF-XG tractor unit. Specification to meet operators’ needs and terms for hiring these or other assets will be the focus of discussions on the TIP stand.

Mike Furnival, the Managing Director at TIP commented: “TIP is looking forward to welcoming customers and guests to our stand at the ITT Hub for our show debut. We’ll be showcasing our expertise in all things trailer and truck, including our technology platforms, and any transport or logistics businesses looking to maximise efficiency and compliance should pay us a visit to see how TIP can support their goals.”

TIP Group can be found at stand 1151, located in the ‘Cold Chain Hub’ part of ITT Hub at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre on the 10th and 11th May 2023.
