Hot on the heels of its official recognition as a UK Best Workplace for
Development™, the team at award-winning, multi-franchise automotive company,
Rygor Group Ltd. is delighted to announce that it has been named by Great Place to
Work® as a UK Best Workplace for Wellbeing™ (large companies) for the second
year running.

In addition to being a UK Best Workplace for Wellbeing 2024™ and a UK Best
Workplace for Development 2024™, Rygor Group Ltd. also holds status as a UK
Best Workplace™ for 2023 and 2024, and certification as an official Great Place to
Work® for the last two years. These prestigious accolades have been awarded off
the back of overwhelmingly positive feedback from Rygor’s team members, gathered
through its annual TRUST INDEX© survey. The survey is independently provided
through Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.

The survey asks Rygor Group (which includes: Rygor Auto, Rygor Plant, Apex Body
Solutions, Apex Van Solutions and Rygor Land Systems) employees to respond to
60 core statements on subjects such as company culture and benefits, and inclusion
and belonging. Importantly the survey asked Rygor team members if they feel they
can ‘be themselves’ at Rygor – a key pillar of overall health and wellbeing. An
impressive 85% of team members agreed with this statement, which, alongside other
feedback and data insights; was used by Great Place to Work® to benchmark
Rygor’s employee value proposition and people strategy against employee
feedback.

Only the businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best
Workplaces™ status and when speaking about Rygor’s place on the UK Best
Workplace for Wellbeing™ list, Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place
to Work UK said: “Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical
ingredients to successful workplace culture.

“Now in our third year of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we’re able to
showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to
outstanding psychological, physical, financial, and social wellbeing.
“It’s no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they
are much healthier, productive, and committed to the mission and purpose of the
organisation. Congratulations to Rygor Group Ltd. for making this prestigious list!”

Over the past 18-months, senior leadership at Rygor Group Ltd. has implemented
carefully considered enhancements across the award-winning automotive company.
These include a full Group rebrand, the launch of three new businesses, and the
opening of its first passenger car aftersales sites at Rygor Mercedes Heathrow and
Rygor Auto Gloucester – further extending the range of expertise offered to Rygor’s
customers.

Rygor Group’s director of people and communications, Kate Ruberry-Shoemack,
said: “We have the most incredible team, and the extra things we put in place here at
Rygor are first and foremost for their benefit.
“We strive to ensure they feel supported in all aspects of wellbeing, both mental and
physical, so it’s great to have been recognised yet again as a UK Best Workplace for
Wellbeing™.

“The importance of good health can’t be underestimated, and doing the right thing for
our team is key to our leadership style and core values here at Rygor. We actively
encourage a sense of belonging and team spirit, while simultaneously recognising
equity and diversity. For example, we know many of our team love the fruit we
provide to our sites each week, while some prefer the ‘just because’ ice cream van
or burger van visits!

We truly believe in supporting the ‘whole self’ to ensure our team members are
happy, healthy, and fulfilled, so it’s great to see that 80% of team members see
themselves staying at Rygor for a long time. We recognise the excellent service they
provide, and we’ll continue recognise employees by enhancing our business culture
and wellbeing programme, ensuring that Rygor continues to be a great place to
work.”

Rygor’s managing director, John Keogh, said: “Our team members are key in the
next phase of our business’ growth and we’re always looking at what more we can
do to support them. Whether that is through initiatives like our bespoke in-house
Wellness programme, providing healthy snacks to our sites, training dedicated
mental health first aiders, our weekly health and wellbeing communications, or
looking at ways we can continue to enhance health-related benefits – like the
opportunity to opt in to receive private health care at a team member’s long service
milestone. We’ve invested heavily in our company culture – and will continue to do
so.

“For us, being a UK Best Workplace for Wellbeing™ isn’t a nice to have – it’s
imperative that we care for the health of our team. They are the heart of our
business, and we understand that to be the best in the industry, we must continue to
do the best we can for the amazing team members already working for Rygor, and
those who will join our team in the future
