RHA hosting interactive DVS Explainer event for road transport industry
Commenting on today’s announcement of the upcoming interactive RHA DVS Explainer event which will take place later this month, RHA Managing Director – Richard Smith said:
“We’ve been a leading voice throughout process of seeking further assurances and clarifications on London’s DVS. It has been our campaigning efforts and engagement with stakeholders, officials and decision makers that sought and achieved more clarity for the industry from TfL and it was our work in collaboration with Loughborough University that led to the crucial Explainer document being published.
“This interactive explainer event is the next stage in the process to get more clarity and certainty for the industry ahead of the October roll-out of DVS. The event is open to all and we believe it will be informative for operators throughout the industry, with experts on hand to answer key questions. We encourage operators from across the country to attend.”

This is an opportunity for the industry to interact with Steve Summerskill from Loughborough University, author of the DVS Explainer, and witness firsthand what compliant kit conforming to the new PSS standard looks like.
There will be both a morning session and an afternoon session. This collaborative event, in association with Loughborough University, is open to all.
