In order to facilitate the increasing growth and quality, FCA will open the largest plant fulfilment center in Europe on the first of January in Arcen. The company will be located on a site with 10 hectares of land, 18,000 m² warehouse, 30 docks, cooling installations and offices.
Unique due to pallet transport for B2C
FCA distinguishes itself by offering pallet transport for consumers, who are interested in large orders of hedge plants, Mediterranean plants or XXL plants. Delivery of these orders is currently taking place in 11 countries, where the aim is to expand to 26 countries. The plants come directly from partnerships with growers in Europe and from their own nurseries.
Shift to digital market
General director Frank Deriet isn’t surprised that the demand for fulfilment of Online stores in the plant sector is growing: “The growth is unstoppable”.
On 7, 8 and 9 February, Fulfillment Center Arcen organizes their first European e-commerce fair, by invitation, for the Online stores with garden, terrace, balcony or house plants in their assortment.
