One of the UK’s leading steel stockholders, AJN Steelstock Limited, has added two new vehicles to its fleet, complete with a new and unique design and colour scheme.

Ensuring the market is supplied with what it needs, when it is needed, AJN Steelstock plays a crucial role in the UK steel construction supply chain and runs a fleet of over 75 rigid and articulated delivery vehicles.

Operating out of two steel processing sites in Suffolk and Somerset, the business provides a rapid turnaround service to a growing customer base across East Anglia, the Midlands, Home Counties, London, The South East and Mid-Wales.

It’s latest additions, two new DAF XF 6×2 tractor units, offer their drivers a host of enhanced safety features including Predictive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Advanced Emergency Braking System and Vehicle Stability Control), as well as the latest in telematics technology and DVS equipment.

Turning heads with their custom design and full body wrap, courtesy of Indigo Ross and Vinyl Vision, AJN’s new DAFs have been fitted with the DAF Digital Vision System, which replaces the main and wide-angle door mirrors with roof mounted cameras and in-cab digital screens.

The system provides enhanced visibility in all weather conditions and offers increased safety for its drivers and vulnerable road users.

Shaun Nolan, AJN Steelstock’s Operations Director, comments, “A prerequisite for all of our vehicles is that they need to be safe, comfortable and finished to a high standard with the right equipment and facilities our drivers need when out on the road.

“The new DAF XFs are among the highest quality vehicles in the market today and we’re delighted to welcome them to our fleet.”
